It is very simple to use and has technical support that is out of this world if your not quite sure about something.
For those who need additional things besides just animation for software, After Effects is a great alternative to free programs that don’t have very much other than animation tools. It is very pricey and will cost you a down payment on a car, around $1,000 bucks. If you have the money to do it, go for it. Otherwise, you can still get some great computer animation software from other free sites.
If you want free, check out Pencil. It’s very basic but does great for bitmap projects. It’s very user-friendly and keeps everything pretty simple. You won’t really find anything out of the ordinary with it, but it’s nice for those who only need a few options to get going.
One interesting choice comes from Denmark. It’s called Plastic Animation Paper and performs much of what it’s name suggests. You’ll see a great combination of paper art and light table art and really focuses on the true artistic aspect of animation, which some other software takes advantage of. It’s only costs $100, but you can try it out for free first before you decide to buy the whole thing. This program is a bit more innovative than others.

All of these computer animation software programs concentrate on actual animation creations, but you need to be sure that what your buying aren’t programs built on assisting with the animation process, which is what many programs through Flash use.
